Had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Rod's sister's house. There were 19 of us which included my nephew's band and a visiting band from the States. So much fun!

Hope you all had a wonderful one surrounded by friends and family!!

I have been working on my campaign materials - brochure, signs web site etc. and I am struck by all of the wonderful emails I have been receiving from my friends and supporters.  To have so many people behind me in my bid to get back on council is truly heart warming!!

I am definitely going to run for council - even though so many people asked me to run for Mayor again, my decision is to run for council. I am really looking forward to serving the community in that capacity once again and am looking forward to getting out in the community knocking on doors and hearing directly from people what issues are important for them.

My plan is to knock on to as many doors as I can - wish me luck!

My hubby Rod and I have just returned from a two week hiking trip. We hiked part of the Sunshine Coast Trail and then came back to the island to hike out to the Cape Scott lighthouse.  It was great spending time camping out on the beach with no distractions other than the sound of the ocean and our great beach fires.  I spent a lot of time thinking about the upcoming election and making my final decision .
